Top tips

  1. Weaken a wild Pal to about 25% HP before throwing a sphere. Throw at its back for a capture bonus, and status effects like frozen or electrocuted raise your odds.
  2. Mass-catch early species. Catching 10 of the same Pal grants a bonus including an EXP boost, so grabbing 10 Lamball or Cattiva speeds leveling.
  3. Cover core base work first: Kindling (Foxparks), Watering (Pengullet or Teafant), plus Handiwork and Transport, before chasing rare Pals.
  4. Do not level the base faster than your worker roster can support it. A base full of combat-only Pals stalls production.
  5. Tower Bosses are the spine. Each first clear awards 5 Ancient Technology Points, the scarce currency that gates endgame recipes.
  6. Match the type chart in combat: Fire beats Grass and Ice, Water beats Fire, Electric beats Water, Ground beats Electric, Ice beats Dragon, Dragon beats Dark, Dark beats Neutral.
  7. Pack heat- or cold-resistant armor before entering the volcano, desert, or snow regions, or you take ongoing damage.
  8. Spend Lifmunk Effigies at the Statue of Power for up to ten catch-rate upgrades.
  9. Anubis is the standout Handiwork Pal and a strong miner. Get one early by breeding or from the desert.
  10. You need a flying or fast aquatic mount to reach Sakurajima and Feybreak. Prioritize a fast mount in your Pal Gear.
