Start with the Flinx Fur Coat setup and the Finch or Vampire Frog Staff. Add the Snapthorn whip.
Before the Wall of Flesh, take Bee or Obsidian armor with the Imp Staff.
After the flip, Spider armor with the Sanguine or Blade Staff carries early Hardmode.
Move to Tiki armor after Plantera, then Spooky or Valhalla Knight after Golem.
If you can beat the Empress of Light in daytime, the Terraprisma is a top minion for the rest of the run.
After the Moon Lord, craft Stardust armor and the Stardust Dragon Staff.

Whips are not optional. They buff minion damage and tag targets so your minions focus fire.
You have low defense. Keep moving and rely on your minions, not your armor.
A Bewitching Table and Summoning Potion give an extra minion slot each. Use both before boss fights.
