Lightning Build (Zeus)
Stack Zeus chain lightning and bouncing bolts so every hit arcs to clear whole rooms.

Zeus lightning arcs and bounces between enemies, so it shines in crowds. Each hit triggers extra lightning, which makes room-clearing fast.
Gods and boons to prioritize

Pom your lightning boon to raise its damage. Lightning numbers scale well with level.
Payoff to aim for
Zeus has lightning Duos with other gods and a Legendary for committing to him. Exact Duo and Legendary names are flagged to verify, so aim for the archetype: a Duo that adds a second lightning trigger (a continuous strike or a stronger chain), or Zeus’s Legendary once you hold enough of his boons. Take it when your gods line up.
Keepsake
- Zeus’s keepsake makes his boons appear early so you find your lightning boon fast.
- Swap to a defensive keepsake at a region transition once lightning is online.
Do this in order
- Equip Zeus’s keepsake to find a lightning boon early.
- Add lightning to whichever action hits the most enemies at once.
- Take Athena Deflect for defense.
- Pom your lightning boon and grab Zeus boons that add more bolts.
- Add Hermes speed for more triggers per second.
- If a lightning Duo or the Zeus Legendary is offered and your gods line up, take it.
Watch out for
- Against single targets, the chain has nowhere to jump and damage drops. Crowds are where it wins.
- Do not spread into a second damage source. Pom lightning instead.
- Skipping defense. Lightning does not keep you alive.
- Tunneling on damage with low max HP. Take Centaur Hearts when survival is shaky.
